मम योनिर्महद्ब्रह्म तस्मिन्गर्भं दधाम्यहम् ।
संभवः सर्वभूतानां ततो भवति भारत ॥१४-३॥
Transliteration:
In bhagavad gita chapter 14 verse 3 Lord Krishna details to Arjuna process of creation of life in cosmic system. As per Lord Krishna… the entire manifest creation, entire cosmos was the womb wherein life was created with help of God Almighty, the creative power of cosmos! In absence of God Almighty, in absence of seed of creation… no life could ever exist in cosmos.
From spiritual point of view… it was God Almighty himself who created present cosmos by exploding self with a big bang. For life to manifest in cosmic system… we need a cosmic womb where all souls atmans could manifest life. In the early stages of life, at the time of big bang… all souls’ atmans in cosmos were pure… absolutely pure!
At the time of big bang… no life existed in cosmos as present cosmos was yet to come in existence. At the time of big bang… God regains its original pure prime pristine primordial form. In spiritual parlance it simply means… all souls atmans in cosmos were in 8.4 millionth manifestation, last in cosmic life cycle. For life to manifest… we need a cosmos and this became possible only when God Almighty manifests self!
The Explanation:
Through bhagavad gita chapter 14 verse 3 Lord Krishna explains the process of germination of life in cosmos. For life to germinate… we need a womb. As detailed in Bhagavad Gita chapter 14 Verse 3 Lord Krishna says… the entire manifest creation, the entire cosmos was but a gigantic cosmic womb wherein all souls atmans manifested a life form in stages.
This confirms existence of doctrine of reincarnation, rebirth as detailed in Hinduism scriptures. As per Lord Krishna… it was our soul atman, the spirit within that was master and controller of human body on mother earth. In absence of souls’ atmans… no life could exist in cosmos! Souls atmans were the seed, manifest creation (present cosmos)… the womb!
The cosmic womb has been termed as mahat as it is in an ever expanding state of manifestation. Ever since occurrence of big bang… our present cosmos is still expanding and shall continue to do so until dissolution of entire cosmos occurred (termed Pralaya in Hinduism)!
Bhagavad Gita chapter 14 verse 3 also confirms that mother earth was not the only life supporting planet in entire cosmos. There could be millions of other life supporting planets all over cosmos. As the present cosmos is in an ever expanding state of expansion… one life supporting planet is getting farther and farther away from other life supporting planets… prime reason why life from one life supporting planet was prohibited to contact life from other life supporting planets!
Clusters of souls’ atmans existed all over cosmos. This would result in life manifesting in different parts of cosmos at the same time. In the core of all stars exist clusters of souls’ atmans! They manifest life only when life supporting planets evolved around that star system! Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism explicitly confirms existence of life in different parts of cosmos.
Unless God Almighty exploded self with a big bang… no soul atman could manifest a body! It was not necessitated… as all souls atmans at the time of big bang were totally pure! For a pure soul atman… the need to manifest a body ceased to exist! A body was necessitated to manifest karma… to remove dross impurities within a soul atman, the consciousness within!
No sooner collapse of old cosmos occurs… all souls’ atmans in cosmos automatically reached 8.4 millionth manifestation, last in cosmic life cycle! In absence of dross impurities within… all souls reached stage of absolute purity. This combined power of all pure souls’ atmans in cosmos… the size of half a thumb is what we called God Almighty in all its glory.
Unable to retain itself for long in its prime pure state… this mass of pure cosmic energy, size of half a thumb (we called God Almighty) again explodes with a big bang to form present cosmos. With occurrence of big bang… all pure souls’ atmans get scattered all over cosmos at unimaginable speeds. In the melee, the hurtling souls’ atmans gathered impurities similar as a rolling ball gathers moss.
To cleanse self of dross impurities within… starts cosmic life cycle of every soul atman! Lord Krishna says… all souls’ atmans; God Almighty himself acts as the seed to manifest life in present cosmos. In absence of God, in absence of souls’ atmans… no life could exist in cosmos! God Almighty always was the seed… manifest creation, the cosmic womb!
No sooner life supporting planets like mother earth evolved in cosmic system… impure souls’ atmans start manifesting life by donning a body. This cosmic journey of life starts with souls atmans manifesting form of amoeba (single cell formation)… the first manifestation in cosmic life cycle! It further evolves into multi-cell formation… then insect life, plant life, animal life and finally forms of human beings! Even the human form was but a manifestation of God Almighty.
We truly were puppets in hands of God Almighty doing his bidding all the time. In the circumstances… our ego (Aham in Hinduism) carried no value on spiritual path. We had to kill our ego, annihilate our ego (Aham) if we desired travelling spiritual path sincerely and seriously! The human form was but a means… a robot in the cosmic journey of life! Manifestation after manifestation, body after body… we as a soul atman continued manifesting new life until we reached 8.4 millionth manifestation, last in cosmic life cycle!
In the long chain of 8.4 million manifestations by a soul atman… the last 1.1 million manifestations occurred in human form. For a soul atman to purify self… human beings had to reach stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana). This only became possible by travelling spiritual path with utmost sincerity. As manifestation of life in cosmos was not in control of human beings… we only acted as a puppet in hands of God Almighty! Bhagavad Gita says we were a spirit… a consciousness and not the manifest physical human form.
As a spirit, the consciousness within… as the manifest physical human form it becomes our duty to assist our soul atman in reaching cosmic end of life… 8.4 millionth manifestation, last in cosmic life cycle! Undertaking spiritual journey was never enforced on human beings by our soul atman, the spirit within! As ordained by God Almighty… human beings were governed by a free will… a special power of discrimination that distinguished us from animals! It is exercising this free will rightly… travelers of spiritual path finally reached God in their lifetime!
Most human beings world over failed to exercise their free will, prime reason why most human beings world over preferred path of religion (path of rituals) than path of pure spirituality that directly led to God Almighty! Most human beings world over feel the control of destiny never lay in their hands but in hands of God Almighty. Mesmerized by glare of worldly riches, controlled by a bloated ego within… what more could we expect from such doomed human beings? The fact is… we never want to realize subtle abstract truths of life! We were happy in a cocoon of our making. We loved the present earthly environment but cared little for its preservation.
Jesus Christ said Love thy neighbor and we started physical indulgence! A traveler of religious path could never understand meaning of Love thy neighbor!
Even though everything relating to present cosmos, its origin, God Almighty exists in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism… but how many human beings world over truly wanted to follow teachings contained in sacred Bhagavad Gita! The original teachings of Bhagavad Gita were available for mere $.60 (Rs. 30/=) from Gita press Gorakhpur India… but how many people world over truly wanted to indulge in Bhagavad Gita!
When our existence as human beings rested with souls atmans… what value of human life unless we travelled spiritual path to reach stage of absolute purity! We must never forget… we were a soul atman, the consciousness within… the seed that manifested life in cosmic system only to regain its lost original pure prime pristine primordial form. As a soul atman we were part of God Almighty all the time. How?
If an individual piece of puzzle is an independent soul atman… the completed puzzle God Almighty! If an individual grain of sand is an independent soul atman… the whole mound God Almighty! In fact God Almighty existed within all living beings in miniscule form as our soul atman… the spirit within! If a soul atman manifests life… it simply means God was manifesting life in cosmic system through us… a human form!
Still we do not want to serve God… do we?
Through Bhagavad Gita chapter 14 verse 3 we must once and for all realize that God himself was the only truth of life in entire cosmos. It was God Almighty himself that created present cosmos to manifest self. With the manifestation… came existence of life in entire cosmos! As human beings were the highest manifest stage in cosmic life cycle… we are practically duty-bound to assist our soul atman, the consciousness within in reaching 8.4 millionth manifestation.
