Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2 Verse 72

एषा ब्राह्मी स्थितिः पार्थ नैनां प्राप्य विमुह्यति ।
स्थित्वास्यामन्तकालेऽपि ब्रह्मनिर्वाणमृच्छति ॥२-७२॥

Transliteration:

Lord Krishna addresses Arjuna thus… whatever I explained to you before now is the state when a human being reached state of Brahma jnana… became knower of all! A Brahma jnani is one who reached Brahman in his lifetime… one who became a self realized soul… an enlightened one!

After gaining enlightenment, becoming a Brahma jnani… there was nothing left further to be achieved by the liberated one… the pure soul atman! A Brahma jnani… the realized Yogi emancipates forever from cycle of Moha (deep emotional attachment). This state of enlightenment… Brahma jnana continues until end of life cycle (the stage when we as a soul atman, the spirit within finally leave for kingdom of God).

Reaching stage of enlightenment… becoming an enlightened one is a one-way path. Under no circumstances it could ever be reversed. Having become a bodhi, an enlightened one… one remains in that position until one leaves mortal frame forever, the stage when one finally gains salvation moksha forever! The moment an enlightened one left mortal frame… one reached end stage of physical manifest life… stage of moksha salvation!

The Explanation:

Lord Krishna says, O Arjuna: The facts I put before you confirm that one who reached Brahman (termed God Almighty in Hinduism)… reached end of cosmic life, became a bodhi… a Jina, a Mahavira forever. One who becomes an enlightened one never goes through cycle of birth and death again. For an enlightened one… cycle of birth and death ceased to exist.

Our soul atman, the spirit within having gained absolute purity… the need for soul atman to manifest another body now ceased to exist. The path of spirituality as detailed in Bhagavad Gita was one-sided, a one-way path! Having achieved state of Brahma jnana… a mortal human being could never revert to routine affairs of life.

State of enlightenment was always permanent, irrevocable… prime reason why path of spirituality must always be tread with caution!

Having achieved state of permanence, having become an enlightened one… one is free from clutches of Moha (deep emotional attachment) forever. The activities of day-to-day life, bindings of mortal world are not applicable to an enlightened one, a bodhi… a Brahma jnani! Having become a Brahma jnani… bondage of Moha becomes irrelevant forever.

For an enlightened one the whole world became one large family! Individual identity lost forever… one could never distinguish between those we called our own and others’. Having established control over five senses and mind forever… a Brahma jnani always remains detached from bondages of earthly relationships.

For an enlightened one, a bodhi… riches of mortal world, lure of material riches carried no meaning. Nothing attracted a realized soul, a Brahma jnani… not even luring from members of opposite sex! For a truly realized Yogi… the mortal body carried no meaning. For a realized soul atman… the mortal body becomes clothing for soul atman, the spirit within!

A God realized soul atman at the end of mortal journey finally gains salvation moksha… liberates self from cycle of birth and death forever. Similar as a block of silver, once cleared of all impurities only attracts superficial impurities… an enlightened one also retains impurities to maintain mortal frame. If impurities within mortal body reduced to zero… one immediately reached stage of moksha salvation! It was not within the capacity of a soul atman to retain body in absence of zero karma… zero dross impurities within!

Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa, the famed guru of Swami Vivekananda was an enlightened soul… who knowingly took interest in cooking. When a follower seriously asked him why he took so much interest in cooking for his fellow men… his simple reply was, to retain the body! Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa understood clearly well that as a soul atman moment he gained absolute purity… he would have to leave the body immediately.

In domain of spirituality 2+2 always equals four… there never were free lunches! Everything in field of spirituality was governed by doctrine of karma… as we sow so shall we reap… nothing less or more! For a Brahma jnani, kaivalya jnani… essence of life always laid in indulgence in good karma, positive karma all the time! No matter what the earthly indulgence of a kaivalya jnani, Brahma jnani… one finally reached kingdom of God at the end of journey.

Reaching stage of Brahma jnana means reaching 8.4 millionth manifestation… last in cosmic life cycle! Every single enlightened soul after gaining salvation moksha entered abode of God… kingdom of God (termed Vaikuntha in Hinduism)… a point of no return! Every liberated soul atman remained in Vaikuntha, kingdom of God… until dissolution of cosmos (termed Pralaya in Hinduism) occurred. Reaching stage of enlightenment was last stage of evolution in human form. Human beings could not evolve any further than becoming a Brahma jnani… kaivalya jnani!

We came across people in daily life who always wondered that human beings could evolve further and further. Reaching stage of Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed simply announced… one reached last stage of evolution in human form. When a soul atman finally gained liberation from cycle of birth and death forever… it announced reaching peak of human life, last stage in cosmic life cycle! In Hinduism… a soul is termed atman!

From all scientific angles… evolution in human form reached peak when one gained enlightenment! But for scientists to understand intricacies of spirituality is beyond comprehension. None in scientific world could easily understand spirituality in Toto. Spirituality was beyond capture of science… rather spirituality starts from the point where science ends. Spirituality never was a matter of speculation. Spirituality always talked in absolutes.

A Brahma jnani, knower of all finally merged with greater atman, Parmatman… God Almighty himself! That was how God Almighty ordained cosmic journey in human form.
